Ramiz Shakil

Ramiz is new to our team at PW Lawyers and has experience drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents. With a keen focus on legal and client care, Ramiz has successfully worked with clients of diverse backgrounds and has even drafted Islamic compliant Wills.

Ramiz experience extends to working in immigration law and with matters before the Administrative Review Tribunal. He has worked on complex immigration matters, including student, skilled worker, partner, and humanitarian visa applications.

Ramiz studied law with the University of Technology, Sydney, successfully completing a business and law double degree. Ramiz excelled in mooting (trial litigation) and client consultations, and was a finalist in the Allens Linklater prize for client interviewing.

Prior to working in law, Ramiz worked for American Express in their foreign exchange department. Ramiz commercial experience gives him a unique edge in understanding client priorities and delivering practical, outcome-focused, and cost-effective solutions.

Ramiz brings extensive experience in client management and administrative appeals, along with drafting and legal problem solving.
